The E-10 Prefilter System is used for ice. The Prefilter is
designed to increase the life of Hoshizaki water filters in
areas with an unusual amount of dirt in the water. There is
a 10 micron, nominal, rating which allows it to trap much of
the dirt which can contribute to scale buildup in ice
makers.
